My Workout Today.

I was in the mood for a hard sweaty workout today. 
So this is what I did.

3 Mile Run @ 8:45 mile pace

Stretch and Foam Roll
20 pushups

Shoulder circuit
Lateral Raise w/ back lunge (alternating legs) 10x each leg
Front DB Raise 25x
Overhead Press 15x
*Repeat 3x*

Leg Circuit
Back Lunge w/bicep curl 15x each leg
Sumo Squat w/ front shoulder raise 20x
One leg (RDL) bent-over back fly 15x each leg
Hip-ups w/ tricep skull crushers 25x
*Repeat 3x*

20 pushups
50 crunches
Stretch and Foam Roll
 
My heart rate was up.
I was burning calories.
I was sweaty.
My legs and arms were jello afterwards.
It was just awesome.

  1. No teacups on for those shoulders?? :) So I'm LOVING your blog! K I just started doing yoga and pilates(my new trainer said I needed to be doing yoga once a week...he must have noticed my lack of flexibility:). Do you have any thoughts on yoga and pilates? I've never done either because running and strength training entertains me 100 times more! Could you maybe do a post on the benefits of yoga and pilates??

    1. I save the teacups for special occasions. Ha. Yes I would love to share my thoughts on yoga and pilates. I have done more pilates than yoga personally but I will let you know what I think. I will try to get a post up in the next few weeks. If you have questions before that, email me.
